2nd Shift - 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM$22.50 per hour 10% Shift Differential Train on days and then transfer to 2nd Shift. SUMMARYInserts ophthalmic lenses into ophthalmic frame. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary DutiesInsert correct lens into correct side of frame (right and left lens)Ensure that lenses are correct size and fit into frameEnsure that any special beveling needs are met for each individual RxProperly align frame by bending with fingers and/or toolsVerify the axis on all multi-focal lensesMake sure all lenses are cosmetically acceptableAlign bifocals and progressives to make sure they are straight acrossBriefly inspect frames for defects or broken partsFRAME ALIGNMENT=All new frames should have a correct four-point touch. Temples and front should be square. Spring hinge frames are satisfactory if slightly bent in. Front wrap should be minimal unless by design of frame. Pad arms should be bent at equal distance. There should be no bridge twist or co-plainer. Temples should close evenly.All screws must be tight. No “V” in eye wire.
